The MIXOLO table lamps are more than just a stylised interpretation of a motif, more than just an object that lights up. They are about sensual experiences that touch us and the emotions that arise from them. Beekeepers, farmers and distillers all take the fruits of nature and use them to create their own products. The beekeeper harvests honey, propolis and wax. Citrus fruit growers collect limes for the production of juice or jam. Figs are distilled into delicious dessert wines. Even the thought of the fruits of their labour triggers emotions in us: A sense of well-being through fragrances, colors and memories. Memories of the flavor of sweet honey, sour limes or fragrant figs seem to radiate from the lamps.
